Sustaining Grant-funded Projects for Long-term Success

Event Date: 2018-05-02

Notable Audience Feedback

"It was interesting but not exactly what I was expecting around sustainability. It was hard with varied states and varied systems. The expectations for highly performing collaborations and tips for effective change agents was very helpful and is relevant to work on my grant. It is easy to feel isolated doing this work - so it's great to hear from other programs that are seeing progress toward the goals we aspire to. Also we are looking specifically to find efficiencies in building pathways to jobs in energy and advanced manufacturing, and that means ensuring we are adopting best practices, national models, etc. whenever possible. So it is very useful to get such detailed input about not just the WHAT but the HOW and most importantly -how to build on the work that has been done and sustain it.
